Solution Architecture
I design target architectures for information systems — from data structures to the integration landscape. I build around the existing core, not instead of it.
ОбсудитьMost problems in enterprise IT systems are problems of architecture, not technology.
A company buys the best software on the market, then a year later discovers the systems aren’t connected to each other, data is duplicated, and adding a new feature costs as much as half the original project.
I design architecture that works for the business: a clear integration model, unified data flows, a scalable structure. And most importantly — I build around what’s already working, not replacing it from scratch.
How It Should Work
Solution architecture must define how systems interact, where data is stored, how load scales, and how new capabilities are added. Good architecture means you can evolve the system without rewriting it from scratch.
Where Companies Typically Go Wrong
What I Do in These Situations
I start by surveying the current landscape: what systems exist, how they connect, where the bottlenecks are. Then I design a target architecture that builds around the existing core — extending it, not replacing it. Every architectural decision is tied to a business objective.
Team role: I own the strategic architectural decisions and integration model. The team details technical specs, works out API contracts, and implements the design decisions.
